A movement

You do not walk alone.

That's not sentiment. That's survival.

A 40-day journey you take with a few people who refuse to let you walk alone.

No email. No account. Just tell us where you're standing.

Why this exists

Belong first. Act second.

You know the weight. The one you carry into rooms full of people who think you're fine. The faith that's still real but has gone quiet. The drive home from church to a separate life. And underneath it all, the question that gets loud in the in-between moments:

Is anyone out there?

Yes. Closer than you think. And these forty days are how you find them.

Walking Together is eight weeks of short daily readings and one honest hour a week with a few people: a living room, a back patio, a corner table at a coffee shop. Not a stage. Not a program. A table.

Most of what's out there tells you to act: serve more, lead more, do more. This journey runs the other direction. Belong first. Act second. You cannot give what you have not received, and you were never meant to receive it alone.

From the road

What it looks like when you don't walk alone.

This spring, a handful of people in Austin walked the forty days before the book ever reached a shelf. Here is one moment from that room.

Real people.
Real rooms.
Real flags.
You'll see them on the map below.

Plant your flag

No email. No account. Just tell us where you're standing, city and country, and you're in. Your flag joins the map below: every flag a real person, in a real city, starting the same walk. Free. No strings.

Every flag is a real person. No names. No tracking. Just witness.

Films

Stories from the road. Watch free.

Five short films. Every story true. Every one lived. They stand on their own. The book goes deeper. No account. No email. Ever.

Devotional

Forty days is a long walk. I'll walk it with you, one short word a week.

Gather a table

You don't need to be an expert to gather a table.

If you can host a dinner, you can lead a cohort. Three to twelve people. One hour a week. Eight weeks. The book does the teaching. The Spirit does the forming. Your job is to steward the room, and everything you need is free.

The Book

Walking Together starts here.

Walking Together: Rediscovering Biblical Community in an Age of Isolation, by Rich Carney

The equipment is simple: one book per walker. Forty days. Eight weeks. Five short readings a week, and one gathering with your people. The book does the teaching. You bring the honesty.

Not ready to buy? Read the first five days free. Five days drawn straight from the book, enough to know if this walk is for you.
